The cutoff date for guaranteed
discounted rooms ($99.99/per night) is Tuesday September 16th. Since
the rooms are in short supply, I recommend that you contact the Crowne Plaza
Hotel as soon as possible if you are planning on attending. Please also send in
your Roundup Registration form as soon as you can.
Many improvements have been recently
completed both inside and outside the Los Angeles Maritime Museum (LAMM). In
between the LAMM and her neighbor, the USS IOWA (museum ship), a beautiful Tall
Ship’s Marina
has just been opened to the public. Last week Norm
Booth and I visited the LAMM and the new marina. It looks
fantastic.
