On 6 June 2012, members of the US Navy Cruiser Sailors Assn and the USS Los Angeles Assn presented
the Director of the L.A. Maritime Museum (LAMM), Marifrances Trivelli, a
check for $2,000 for the support and recognition the museum gives to
the heavy cruiser USS Los Angeles CA-135 and its Association.
